The MSI Prestige 13 AI+ Evo is a lightweight Lunar Lake laptop that lacks performance.

Our Verdict

The MSI Prestige 13 AI+ Evo is lightweight in construction and lightweight in performance. The former guarantees maximum portability whereas the latter forces the laptop to only find usefulness when performing light to medium workflows. The biggest problem though is the price which I think will compel most people to buy the M4 version of the MacBook Air instead.

The MSI Prestige 13 AI+ Evo follows quickly on from the Prestige 13 AI Evo. I think there’s only been six months between the two models with the newer version benefitting from the latest Intel technology. In almost all other regards, the two models are identical.

The laptop is small and lightweight making it perfect for working in any and every location. The size and weight means you can quickly and easily throw it into a bag or even a large handbag before travelling to a new destination.

A compact and lightweight laptop that is perfect for on the go working.

Lacks any discernible features aside from the obvious AI functionality.

Single-core performance is not bad but lacks oomph for more involved creative workflows.

An overpriced laptop that will need to see a significant price reduction before the value matches the performance.
