An all-in-one pro pen tablet.

Our Verdict

If you’re tired of battling octopus cables and lugging around your laptop, the Huion Studio Kamvas could revolutionise your setup. This fully laminated, anti-glare slate might look like a Surface Pro (and comes with Windows 11 pre-installed, to boot), but it's everything you need from a graphics tablet; 8,192 pressure levels, 100% AdobeRGB gamut coverage and Huion PenTech 3.0+ technology. It’s also got touch controls, but the lack of shortcut keys takes some getting used to.

For

  • Robust and smart design
  • No external machine necessary
  • Great drawing experience

Against

  • Battery life could be better
  • Heavy, but understandably so
  • No shortcut keys

The Huion Kamvas Studio 16 is a game-changer in the drawing tablet market, finally offering some genuine competition to Wacom’s pen computer – and it’s two-thirds of the price.

That’s right, the slate pictured above is not, in fact, a Surface Pro; it’s Huion’s latest device, an all-in-one pen computer with some pretty impressive specs and great build quality - and it’s available for a respectable $1,699 / £2,199.99.
