Oh my! Surface Pro 9 has a ridiculous 35% off right now – save $540

One of our favourite tablets just equalled its lowest-ever price.

Ahead of the Surface Pro 10 announcement, I've had my eyes peeled for deals on older kit. And I'm delighted to see a rock-bottom price returning for only the second time on the Surface Pro 9 – reduced $1,599.99 to just $999.99 at Best Buy. That's a saving of $540 on the 16GB RAM, 256 SSD version – equal to Black Friday (which was by far the cheapest we've seen it on sale for, with a previous low of just under $1200).

We really rate this tablet, and gave it a glowing four star review – however our sister site, Windows Central, gave it a whopping five stars. The difference is in the application – our reviewer felt it wouldn't handle heavy art software. But for medium to lighter users, this is perfect.
