Amazon Prime Day is today! I know many people might have deal fatigue, but it's a reminder that we're nearing the manic retail season right before the run-up to the big 'C' word, and there are deals galore on creative tech, but more importantly, Prime Day discounts on 3D printers.

This is great news for anyone not wanting to wait until Black Friday to grab a bargain, or if you already own one of the best 3D printers, then it's an opportunity to stock up on materials, accessories, and filament while it's cheap.

On Amazon, it looks like 30% off the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 Combo is the offer to beat. You can also snag up to 50% off materials like TPU and PLA Pure over at Bambu Lab thanks to the Halloween Sale.

Stick with me on this live blog for regular updates on 3D printing October Prime Day deals as and when I find them, and check out the Quick Links section below to be taken straight to the offers.

LIVE: Latest Updates

I am back! If you're new and joining us here, then welcome to Creative Bloq's 3D printing live blog. I'm dedicating the next 2 days to finding you guys the best deals, discounts, and offers on everything 3D printing-related. So stick with me, bookmark the page, keep checking back and maybe leave a comment so I don't feel like I'm talking to a brick wall? Thanks!

One thing you might not be looking for this Prime Day but should definitely consider is a filament dryer. Wet filament is NOT a myth. It's very real, very annoying and thankfully very easy to fix. Check out my guide to the best filament dryers here. I'll hunt for some filament dryer deals and report back with my findings.

I'm gonna grab some lunch now and check back in shortly. In the meantime, if you have any 3D printing or Prime Day questions, please drop a comment down below. Our US audience should be waking up soon, and then we can really dig into the decent 3D Prime Day deals ✌️

I'll leave you with this meme.

Another place you can shop for 3D printing deals this Amazon Prime Day is JoyBuy. If you haven't heard of this new UK retailer, don't worry, as it's 100% legit and safe to buy from, has an app, and dare I say, better prices than Amazon on a lot of products.

It's the cheapest place I've found to buy single spools of filament (as low as £7.99/kg) and, depending on where in the UK you live, it can also offer same-day shipping. All of my orders so far have arrived within 12 hours, and you can use my code ZSHF9K for £3 off your first order.

Which 3D printer should you buy this Prime Day?

If you're struggling to decide which of the best 3D printers to buy this Prime Day, then let me offer some guidance.

For beginners: I highly recommend bedslinger models like the Anycubic Kobra X series, plus the Bambu Lab A1/A2 (or A1 mini), and Creality's Ender range and Spark IX series. Partly because these models are so affordable and can help you to grasp the fundamentals of 3D printing, such as parts, materials, levelling and maintenance, before you invest in the Core XY giants.

For confident users: If you're comfortable being thrown in the deep end and have a more flexible budget, you can instead opt for a slightly bigger Core XY machine like the Elegoo Centauri Carbons, or Bambu Lab X2 /P2 models for more premium results. I've heard great things about the Creality K2 models as well, though I haven't personally tested these.

For advanced makers: If you have the expertise (and the budget), then the printer you'll want this Prime Day is one of Bambu Labs' H series machines (the H2D, H2C, or H2S) or one of Prusa's premium options, like the Prusa MK4S, which you might have to assemble yourself. These 3D printers have really proven themselves as the best on the market and include multiple tool heads (see the Snapmaker U1) and tool-swap features to add precise cutting and laser engraving to your skill arsenal.

Pre-owned Prime Day Printer deals anyone??

Have you ever considered shopping for a pre-owned 3D printer? For those of us on a tighter budget this Prime Day, it could be a winner. It looks like Elegoo has an entire section of its UK site dedicated to used machines with prices as low as £30!

No, I'm not kidding! Check it out for yourself.

Bambu Lab also has it's own refurbished 3D printer range, but as you'd expect, all of them are sold out, it seems :(

I know it's too early to be talking Christmas...but look how cute these little reindeer heads are that I put together last year 🥺 The files are by SugarPaws3D, my favourite 3D modeller, and I'm obsessed with everything she creates. Printed on my Bambu Lab X1C.

Poll time!

I'm curious...what's the most desirable thing you're looking for in a 3D printer? (Pick the most important).

Does anyone else's Amazon look like this right now? 😅

There are a TON of deals on 3D printers, which is great to see, but not all of them are worth your hard-earned cash. Take a look at our guide to the best 3D printers to see my top recommended machines that I've personally tried and tested.

Any that aren't on the list shouldn't be ruled out altogether, but my advice is to avoid most of the Anycubic bedslingers like the Kobra 3/4 and the S1 Combo if you value your sanity. These machines are cheap for a reason and will break after repetitive use.

One of the best deals I can confidently recommend this Prime Day is £125 off the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 Combo.

Usually, I always tell people to go straight to the manufacturer for the best deal, and 9/10 that's the best offer you'll get. But in this case, the Carbon 2 Combo is actually cheaper in the UK at Amazon, where it's listed for £254 (an absolute STEAL, might I add), whereas at Elegoo's site its currently £379.

This is why it's always best to price check and cross reference. Don't worry, I'm doing the hard work so you don't have to this Prime Day.

Save 36% (£143.85)
ELEGOO Elegoo Centauri 2 Combo 3d Printer, Beginner-Friendly Multicolour Printing: was £398 now £254.15 at Amazon

This is a fantastic price on one of the most beginner-friendly 3D printers you can buy. Take a look at our Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 review to find out why we love it so much.

If you're solely after a Bambu Lab machine this Prime Day, skip Amazon entirely and head straight to the source - Bambu Lab's official website.

There's a Halloween Sale happening right now in both the US and UK, with flash sales on fancy filament like TPU for 50% off, and discounts on popular printers.

Check it out.

Hozo NeoSander

Another thing for you to browse while we wait for the October Prime Day klaxon, is this incredible handheld sander that I recently put to the test on some PLA prints.

Removing supports has never looked so easy thanks to the Hozo NeoSander, and I haven't been able to stop using it to tidy up my 3D models. It looks like there's a tiny discount on it right now

Need some filament recommendations? Take a look at my guide to the best filaments for 3D printing based on my favourite go-to's that I use almost every day. There are thousands of options out there, with hundreds of brands to choose from, so take it with a pinch of salt.

While we still have a few hours until kick off in the UK, there are already some existing 3D printer deals live on Amazon for you to get stuck in with. Joe has covered deals on the Anycubic Kobra X, down to $329.99 at Amazon, as well as offers on Anycubic resin printers like the Mono M7 Pro, which is $130 off on Amazon.

Take a look for yourself.

Hey everyone, welcome to Creative Bloq's 3D printing live blog for October Prime Day 2026. If you're looking to score a bargain on one of the best 3D printers this week, or you simply want to save a few quid on some filament and materials, then you're in the right place.

APD kicks off tomorrow (October 6), and will run until end of day on October 7th.

What is a live blog? Think of it as a dedicated hub for all things Amazon Prime Day and 3D printing curated in one space. But the real beauty is that this page can be updated with live updates, thoughts, quips and most importantly NEW DEALS as and when they appear.

After almost 5 years of covering Amazon Prime Day, I can tell you that deals don't always just appear all in one go. You see, they get added gradually, staggered each hour, and they're not always tied to Amazon, either. It's my job to gather all of the best 3D printing deals I can find this Prime Day and bring them here to share with our readers.
