Hey everyone, welcome to Creative Bloq's 3D printing live blog for October Prime Day 2026. If you're looking to score a bargain on one of the best 3D printers this week, or you simply want to save a few quid on some filament and materials, then you're in the right place.
APD kicks off tomorrow (October 6), and will run until end of day on October 7th.

After almost 5 years of covering Amazon Prime Day, I can tell you that deals don't always just appear all in one go. You see, they get added gradually, staggered each hour, and they're not always tied to Amazon, either. It's my job to gather all of the best 3D printing deals I can find this Prime Day and bring them here to share with our readers.

There's a Halloween Sale happening right now in both the US and UK, with flash sales on fancy filament like TPU for 50% off, and discounts on popular printers.

One of the best deals I can confidently recommend this Prime Day is £125 off the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 Combo.
Usually, I always tell people to go straight to the manufacturer for the best deal, and 9/10 that's the best offer you'll get. But in this case, the Carbon 2 Combo is actually cheaper in the UK at Amazon, where it's listed for £254 (an absolute STEAL, might I add), whereas at Elegoo's site its currently £379.
This is why it's always best to price check and cross reference. Don't worry, I'm doing the hard work so you don't have to this Prime Day.

There are a TON of deals on 3D printers, which is great to see, but not all of them are worth your hard-earned cash. Take a look at our guide to the best 3D printers to see my top recommended machines that I've personally tried and tested.
Any that aren't on the list shouldn't be ruled out altogether, but my advice is to avoid most of the Anycubic bedslingers like the Kobra 3/4 and the S1 Combo if you value your sanity. These machines are cheap for a reason and will break after repetitive use.

Which 3D printer should you buy this Prime Day?
If you're struggling to decide which of the best 3D printers to buy this Prime Day, then let me offer some guidance.
For beginners: I highly recommend bedslinger models like the Anycubic Kobra X series, plus the Bambu Lab A1/A2 (or A1 mini), and Creality's Ender range and Spark IX series. Partly because these models are so affordable and can help you to grasp the fundamentals of 3D printing, such as parts, materials, levelling and maintenance, before you invest in the Core XY giants.
For confident users: If you're comfortable being thrown in the deep end and have a more flexible budget, you can instead opt for a slightly bigger Core XY machine like the Elegoo Centauri Carbons, or Bambu Lab X2 /P2 models for more premium results. I've heard great things about the Creality K2 models as well, though I haven't personally tested these.
For advanced makers: If you have the expertise (and the budget), then the printer you'll want this Prime Day is one of Bambu Labs' H series machines (the H2D, H2C, or H2S) or one of Prusa's premium options, like the Prusa MK4S, which you might have to assemble yourself. These 3D printers have really proven themselves as the best on the market and include multiple tool heads (see the Snapmaker U1) and tool-swap features to add precise cutting and laser engraving to your skill arsenal.
Another place you can shop for 3D printing deals this Amazon Prime Day is JoyBuy. If you haven't heard of this new UK retailer, don't worry, as it's 100% legit and safe to buy from, has an app, and dare I say, better prices than Amazon on a lot of products.

If you're looking for genuinely decent 3D printer deals, whether its Prime Day or Black Friday, there's one rule you need to follow. I made this video last Amazon Prime Day, and the same rule still applies.
The #1 rule when shopping for 3D printers is to try the manufacturer first. In this instance you'll nearly always get a better deal by shopping with the retailer directly (or using some of our handy quick links at the top of this guide) as opposed to buying on Amazon.

If you're deciding between machines this Prime Day, I think I can offer some help. I recently wrote a Vs piece pitting the Snapmaker U1 against the Bambu Lab H2C. Both of these printers have seriously impressive specs, with fast colour changes, impressive quality prints, and most desirably – zero purge waste.
If price is the biggest factor for you, then the deal I shared just now on the Snapmaker U1 should sweeten the deal for US shoppers, although I'd argue that if you can stretch your budget a little, then the H2C is the better choice for existing Bambu Lab owners thanks to its seamless integration with the ecosystem.

Let's talk CNC machines!
During my recent trip to Berlin for IFA, one of the world's biggest tech events, I saw too many CNC machines to count. I wrote a piece on how I think CNC machines could be the next big craze of 2027, and this only cemented my belief.

Have you ever used a 3D pen? I love them! The one I personally own is the 3Doodler PRO, which is a very premium model aimed at professional artists. For something a bit more affordable, I've found a deal on the SCRIB3D P1 on Amazon UK, where it's 25% off for Prime Day and down to just £29.99.

DEAL SPOTLIGHT: Bambu Lab P1S
Bambu Lab's P1S Combo model is a few years old now and has been replaced by the upgraded P2S model, – but remains a premium choice for 3D printing professionals and hobbyists alike, with a user-friendly enclosed design for high-temp printing and an AMS unit for multicoloured models.
You can get it for a steal right now over at Bambu Lab's website, where it's just $499 for the AMS Combo down from the typical non-RRP price of $549.
The AMS 2 Pro model is the better choice if you ask me, since the upgraded AMS offers filament spool drying and technically doubles as a filament dryer.
Alternative deal: You can also get a P1S on its own (no AMS) for just $369, down from its RRP of $699 via Bambu Lab.
If you don't own a 3D printer that also has a laser module (or you're someone who generally likes to keep your craft machines separate), then I highly recommend this 10W laser engraver from Creality - the Falcon A1. I tested this not long ago and quickly fell in love with how easy it was to use for complete newbies to laser engraving (like I was).
It's currently down to just $442 for Prime Day, which is an insanely low price for a laser engraver (these things usually retail between $2-3K).
You can also check out the new Bambu Lab R1 Laser, though this doesn't have a Prime Day discount, given that it's so new.

I 3D printed some Joy-Con grips for my Nintendo Switch 2 (designed by PaoloBoniDesign via MakerWorld). The blue shell one was printed in TPU, and the green Luigi-inspired grip is regular PLA. You can read my article if you want to learn more about how I made these.
