XPPen's new 16K Pressure digital pen is a game-changer for digital artists
The X3 Pro pen just launched with the new Artist Pro and Deco Pro.
XPPen, one of the leading manufacturers of digital drawing tools, has announced the release of its latest product lineup, which comprises brand new drawing displays, drawing tablets and, perhaps most excitingly, the world's first digital stylus featuring over 16K levels of pressure sensitivity (16,384, to be precise).
The X3 Pro Stylus features the X3 Pro Chip, offering industry-first innovation with 100% more pressure sensitivity than its peers. This allows for hyper-nuanced creation and beyond, with smoother and more precise lines than ever before.
The new line up includes drawing display Artist Pro 14 (Gen 2) and drawing tablet Deco Pro (Gen 2) alongside the incredible new stylus.
“The X3 Pro stylus is part of XPPen's new product series that is included in both Artist Pro and Deco Pro series," XPPen announced. With this new lineup, XPPen is set to revolutionise the digital drawing tools industry and provide artists and designers with the latest and greatest technology to bring their creations to life. Prior to the X3 Pro, the highest pressure sensitivity available on the market was only around 8K. However, when the artists want to pursue more precise strokes and more exquisite thicknesses, the importance of pressure sense arises. This is also one of the reasons why XPPen is pursuing to upgrade the pressure-sensitive technology to 16K - to meet the higher needs of users.
Artist Pro 14 Drawing Display (Gen 2)
To help artists capture their ideas in greater detail, the Artist Pro series is equipped with a super-natural anti-glare display and the new X3 Pro stylus. A wide color gamut coverage ratio of 99% sRGB lets creations come to life, and helps the artist uncover every detail with maximum clarity at 1920x1200 high resolution. The X-Nature Display optimises eye comfort by reducing potentially harmful blue light emissions while delivering excellent color accuracy – which is certified by TUV(SUD). And to provide the users with the best experience, Artist Pro drawing display has a built-in foldable stand.
Deco Pro Drawing Tablet (Gen 2)
The Deco Pro series with X3 Pro stylus brings artists a paper-like digital surface by simulating the proper amount of damping of pen on paper for natural creation, while the X3 pro stylus ensures extreme precision. There are no buttons or keys on the surface – a futuristic minimal design for boundless creation. And to meet various needs for sizes, Deco Pro has 4 different sizes; A3 (XLW), A4 (LW), and A5 (MW).
As well as the new stylus and tablets, XP-Pen also revealed a new wireless shortcut remote. The ACK05 Wireless Shortcut Remote is a pro-level remote for professional artists and heavy users, featuring Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and multiple setups for different user preferences. And the slim, compact design makes it easy to carrying.
