Digital tablets can be great productivity devices, but can they also be canvases for artists and creatives? The HUAWEI MatePad 11.5”S PaperMatte certainly can thanks to first-of-its-kind new display tech that provides a realistic pen-on-paper feel designed to compete with dedicated professional drawing tablets.

On the one hand, the MatePad 11.5"S is a perfectly proportioned productivity tool. With an aspect ratio of 3:2, a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and 2.8K resolution (2800 × 1840), its technical specs are impressive. But the new generation PaperMatte Display takes things further. The display is nano-etched for a paperlike texture, and it reduces ambient light reflections up to 99%, making it comfortable to use in almost any environment.
