Creative Bloq at 10 Awards: Winners
We celebrate a decade of design and tech.
CB at 10 Awards: Print Ad of the Decade
Winner: Dracula
Dracula wins with 27.78 per cent. This inventive and *cough* bloody -clever ad from BBC Creative launched to drum up attention for the TV mini-series of the same name, back in 2020. Stakes on the billboard are lit by a lamp as the sunsets form the shape of Dracula's face. It's on brand, on message and quirky enough to get everyone talking; it's no wonder this large print ad staked a claim to be in our list of the best billboard advertising of all time.
Dracula beat some impressive print ads to get your votes, including Monotype's 'Type Only' ad for McDonalds and 'Moldy Whopper' for Burger King by INGO Stockholm/David. We have a list of the best print ads to take a look at, and a guide to the best laptops for graphic designers, including the Dell XPS 17, and best free software for graphic designers – everything you need to get started in print advertising.
Print ad of the Decade: Runners-up
- Lime – Volkswagen – 22.22 per cent
- Type Only – McDonald’s – 18.52 per cent
- Moldy Whopper – Burger King – 16.67 per cent
- Frakta Bag (spot the difference) – IKEA – 14.81 per cent
