Will there be Black Friday computing deals this year?
Black Friday runs 24-27 November this year, but we're already preparing ourselves for some attractive computing deals now.
Black Friday is one of the best times of the year to get a great deal on your next laptop, monitor or workstation for a reasonably low price. We've dedicated this page to finding the very best deals on computing products aimed at creatives. So whether you're a student or a professional video editor, we're confident in seeking out the best tech to suit your lifestyle and budget.
We've noticed over the last few years that Black Friday deals are coming in earlier than usual. That's because bigger online retailers usually have stock to shift ahead of holiday seasons, and don't want to wait around for the official Black Friday event to start. Of course, there's always a risk in shopping early for Black Friday deals – as there's a chance that great deals could be even better when the event rolls around.
But that's where we come in. We use our product expertise and factor in price history from previous years to let you know if we think a deal may be worth going for. Take a look at the best laptops for graphic design and the best monitors for video editing for some of the most highly-rated computing products we know you'll love. Looking for something specific? See our Black Friday Surface Pro deals.

Black Friday computing deals: Need to know
When is Black Friday?
Black Friday 2023 will run, as always, from the last Friday of November for the weekend following. This year that means it will run from Friday 24 to Monday 27 November. And we wager that there will be many brilliant deals on computing hardware in the lead up to these dates – as there always has been.
What's a good Black Friday computing deal?
This is a good question, as not everything is what it seems over Black Friday. We've often seen retailers (naming no names) inflating the discounted asking price of a model before a deal price goes live, therefore making the discount look far bigger than it actually is.
We use price comparison software and our knowledge of the real retail price of products to see through such deals. That's not to say we won't report on them – sometimes it'll still be a good deal – but we will always do our best to give you a detailed context of what you're actually saving, and why you should consider buying a product.
If previous years is anything to go by, there will be hundreds of dollars to be saved on top end monitors and laptops, and more modest savings to be had on more budget items. This is the page where you'll find them all.
What laptops and monitors should I buy?
This, of course, depends on what you will want to use them for. Here at Creative Bloq we've spent a lot of time and effort putting together the best monitors and laptops for specific workloads – whether that's graphic design, photo editing or student work.
That means when we suggest a product deal over Black Friday, we'll have a specific user in mind, and we'll make it clear who the product is aimed at. We don't want any dissatisfied creatives out there who have got a great saving on a monitor that they don't like or use to its full potential. We want to ensure that isn't you this November.
