Our Verdict

This is a big marker in the sand for Unity 6. This new launch delivers on numerous fronts, including rendering, multiplayer tools and photorealistic lighting. My personal favourite to test was the multiplayer functionality, which really helped streamline my workflow. URP performance has also caused me to question whether Unity is now better for 3D visuals than Unreal. Version 6 is a strong release that paves the way for an even brighter future.
