Create 3D effects and add parallax scrolling

With the help of independent 3D engines such as Papervision3D, we've been able to create sophisticated 3D effects in Flash for some time now. This has, however, required a certain level of programming and 3D knowledge, which might have posed a problem for those wanting to implement simple, basic 3D touches in a site.

The latest version of Flash, CS4, enables designers with some knowledge of ActionScript to add 3D to their site quickly and easily, whether that is through the now sophisticated timeline motion-tween editor or through scripting.
